Prior to the beginning of 2020, few people in our country or community had any experience with a Pandemic. We had learned about Pandemics from the pages of history or from the family stories of a loved one who lived through the Pandemic. Because of the work of historians we were able to read about how drastically people's lives changed during the Spanish Influenza Pandemic of 1918.
We like you understand the significance of this moment in history which we all find ourselves living through. In order to preserve this moment and the experiences for future generations, we at Morgan County Library would like to invite our local community to share with us your COVID 19 stories. We want to encourage you to blog with us as with us as we share our stories of this new normal for all of us because we are all in this moment together and we can be to support one another.
As we start to document this pandemic we would like to invite you as our patrons to share your photos, journals, videos or posts about how this pandemic has effected you and your family. We look forward to your submissions.
